Eu & Água: 1st Act

Eu & Água, at the invitation of Lote 67, is an installation from May 26th to June 17th, 2023, which opens with a space activation performance in collaboration with musician and composer Otsoa. Inspired by Maria Bethânia's continued listening to the song "Eu & Água," Ana Rocha once again invokes her relationship with water as a propelling, destructive, and transformative element in an unconventional space and context—a store space, a showcase space, a reliquary space. Water that moves and composes human beings, that moves them, that ebbs and flows, and stirs them from memory, immersing them in a birth of creation to their extinction. A water that is drunk, that is extinguished, that decomposes. Water, a repository of that which radiates toxicity and exchange, water, a wave that swallows, petrifies, solidifies, evaporates, and challenges the idea of ​​structure and stability. Me & Water is an exercise in ingestion, washing, and creation.

 

 

Eu & Água : 2nd Act, Dawn of My Body

June 15th at 7pm 

 

Ana Rocha's Eu & Água opened at Lote67 on May 26th with a performance installation activated in partnership with the sound of João Soares aka Otsoa. ​​This Thursday, June 15th, at 7pm, we return. Eu & Água : 2nd Act, Dawn of My Body. The spaces between the organs that remain to continue creating between the edges of a monotonous universe. The polis mass that chews up artistic laboratory manifestations and transforms them into a capital image. What remains in the invisible sphere of bodies to continue testing and fermenting possibilities beyond formatting and product. Water runs and crosses these masses, and finds other dawns.

Ana Rocha's Eu & Água opened at Lote67 on May 26th with a performance installation activated in partnership with the sound of João Soares aka @otsoa.res, and on June 15th, its second act, "Madrugada do Meu Corpo," took place. Spaces that remain for other living perspectives, for accounting and blanking any product pretensions, and only for breathing and ventilation.
